📋 Description

• Lead complex financial analyses and deliver insights supporting business performance and strategic decisions • Prepare and support Statutory and GAAP financial reporting requirements • Develop, maintain, and analyze budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow models • Support internal and external audits, including interactions with Deloitte and regulatory agencies • Coordinate governance and control activities, including SOX self-assessments, segregation of duties reviews, and approval authorization processes • Partner with leadership to understand business trends, identify risks, and recommend solutions • Support claim reserve analyses and discontinued lines of business IBNR studies • Drive process improvements and enhance the effectiveness of financial operations • Coach and mentor analysts while serving as a trusted resource across the team • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration

🎯 Requirements

• Strong knowledge of reinsurance accounting and finance • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting • Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, complex data analysis, and macros • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment • 5+ years of relevant finance, accounting, or reinsurance experience • Prior leadership or people management experience preferred • Experience with Microsoft Copilot and AI-powered tools preferred • Experience with Power BI preferred • Experience with Microsoft Fabric preferred • Experience leading process improvement or transformation initiatives preferred • Required to submit to a background investigation • Must have a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions and appropriate desk and seating when working from home • Reliable internet required, with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
