📋 Description

• Lead or support economic impact assessments for state agencies and regulators • Build transparent impact models covering direct, indirect, and induced effects, including employment, output, tax, and industry effects, with documented assumptions • Synthesize industry, labor, and administrative data • Write policy-ready findings and recommendations • Present methods and results to agency sponsors and stakeholders • Contribute economic-impact content and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when permissioned

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on economic impact assessment, I-O / REMI / IMPLAN (or equivalent) modeling, or state regulatory economic analysis delivery • Ability to produce reproducible methods, clear limitations, and policy-ready reports • Comfortable as a 1099 / project-based collaborator with travel as needed • Prior California state agency or regulated-industry economic analysis (nice to have) • Cannabis / alcohol / regulated-product market analysis (nice to have) • Advanced degree in economics, public policy, or related (nice to have)
