📋 Description

• Build total cost of ownership and lifecycle cost models for light-, medium-, and heavy-duty electrification • Compare vehicle, charger, electrical upgrade, energy, maintenance, and residual-value scenarios • Incorporate utility rates, demand charges, incentives, and tax credits into agency-ready analyses • Translate model results into clear tables, charts, and decision briefs for finance and operations leaders • Stress-test assumptions such as mileage, energy price, and incentive timing, and document sensitivity ranges • Support proposal cost narratives and study appendices when naming is authorized • Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when naming is authorized • Work as a project-based collaborator on current public-sector fleet and charging studies

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated experience building TCO, lifecycle cost, or capital/operating cost models for fleets or energy projects • Working knowledge of EV energy costs, demand charges, incentives, and vehicle residual-value assumptions • Strong Excel or comparable modeling skills • Clear written explanation of methods and results • Comfortable as a 1099 project-based consultant • Comfortable working remotely with occasional client meetings • Public-sector fleet, transit, or EV charging cost-study experience (nice to have) • Familiarity with NEVI, CFI, VW, IRA, or state clean-fleet incentive stacking in financial models (nice to have) • Experience presenting cost findings to finance directors, city managers, or elected boards (nice to have)
