📋 Description

• Build and maintain AlphaSense’s Channel & Customer Research coverage roadmap for Financial Services equities • Translate sector priorities into a structured pipeline of channel check projects aligned with investor demand, client engagement trends, and key market debates • Lead development of channel check frameworks, expert sourcebase strategies, and structured questionnaires • Serve as the primary Financial Services domain expert across banking, insurance, and fintech • Guide project design and ensure research relevance across lending, deposits, payments, insurance underwriting, and financial technology • Collaborate with Operations Managers and analysts on expert targeting, feasibility, project structure, and execution • Identify new companies, subsectors, and channel check opportunities within the Financial Services ecosystem • Map value chains and identify expert networks to expand ongoing research coverage • Refine research frameworks and workflows with cross-functional teams • Oversee CCR project development and execution to ensure quality, consistency, and end-user value • Report to the Head of Channel & Customer Research • Guide a team of analysts conducting structured channel checks

🎯 Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in equity research, market intelligence, consulting, or a related analytical role • Experience or exposure to Financial Services, including banking, insurance, fintech, or adjacent sectors • Strong domain knowledge of Financial Services, including key companies, business models, distribution channels, and investment debates across lending, deposits, payments, underwriting, and financial technology • Experience designing primary research frameworks and questionnaires that translate industry knowledge into structured, repeatable insights • Experience ideally within a channel check or expert interview context • Highly analytical and intellectually curious • Ability to develop expertise across new companies and subsectors • Comfortable working cross-functionally with research leadership, operations teams, and analysts • Ability to ensure projects are well-structured, feasible, and executed to a consistently high standard
