📋 Description

• Provide project financial support and direction on assigned projects • Monitor and manage project financials to maximize project profitability and cash flow • Load, review, reconcile, and approve project budgets, billing schedules, and revenue schedules in financial management systems • Perform work movements between sites within the financial management system • Maintain Project and Contract module configuration, including Rate Sets/Plans and Contract Lines • Record revenue recognition for milestone, spread-even, usage-based, and billable project transactions during month-end close • Prepare and validate monthly/quarterly Sponsor accruals and receivable balances • Prepare monthly actual-versus-budget/forecast variance analyses and project reports • Review revenue recognition, project performance variances, and WIP/Deferred revenue positions • Perform WIP/Deferred revenue reconciliations • Monitor WIP/Deferred revenue, over-the-limit, and contract activation reports; resolve or escalate unusual activity • Prepare reporting for unsigned contract opportunities, backlog, and ad-hoc financial analysis • Work with project management on projections, timelines, scope changes, budget-to-actual comparisons, and change orders • Ensure payments do not exceed SOW timelines • Ensure change orders are executed and communicated to appropriate personnel • Serve as central contact for project communications, correspondence, and documentation • Participate in study team and project kickoff meetings and collaborate with cross-functional staff to verify information and triage data issues

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field or equivalent work experience required • Minimum of 1 year of related experience • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint • Experience with Workday ERP preferred • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and industry-specific manuals • Ability to write advanced reports and correspondence • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization • Bilingual proficiency in French may be required, depending on location • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Well-developed interpersonal skills • Personal/professional integrity and discretion in handling confidential information • Ability to develop strong trusting relationships • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities • Self-directed, motivated, and willing to take initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations • Critical thinking, initiative, good judgment, and constructive problem solving • Ability to set priorities and work in an organized manner • Strong attention to detail • Professional demeanor and discretion pertaining to employee information • Ability to work as part of a fast-paced, deadline-driven team • Strong MS Office skills and familiarity with HRMS systems • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Must possess valid work authorization that does not require employer sponsorship now or in the future
