Alto is a project and organization developing a dedicated high-speed passenger rail network along the Toronto–Québec City corridor. The plan calls for roughly 1,000 km of mainly electrified tracks with speeds around 300 km/h to shorten travel times, stimulate economic growth, create jobs, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
