📋 Description

• Lead virtual group therapy for adults living with serious mental illness • Facilitate engaging virtual groups that support participation, connection, skill-building, and recovery • Provide individual psychotherapy when indicated as part of members’ treatment plans • Deliver evidence-based care using CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and other clinically appropriate interventions • Build therapeutic relationships and provide consistent support over time • Collaborate with psychiatry, primary care, nutrition, community health workers, therapists, and other care-team members • Address social, behavioral, and environmental barriers to treatment and recovery • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation • Uphold privacy, confidentiality, and clinical quality standards • Participate in case consultation and interdisciplinary discussions • Contribute to program development and continuous improvement across Amae’s clinical model

🎯 Requirements

• Experience leading virtual group therapy sessions • Comfortable and confident managing group dynamics • Well-versed in integrating evidence-based modalities and interventions, including CBT, DBT, and MI • 1 year of experience working with adult patients with severe mental illness (SMI) • Active license or registration to practice as a therapist in California, such as LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, Licensed Psychologist, AMFT, ACSW, or APCC • Active NPI • Medicaid/Medicare enrollment • Available weekday mornings and evenings in Pacific Time • Committed to improving access to high-quality mental health services for the California SMI community • Ability to navigate challenging situations with professionalism • Thorough understanding of confidentiality and appropriate documentation standards • Technologically savvy and comfortable using AI-based tools • Ability to learn and navigate new tools • Highly organized with the ability to work autonomously • Strong listening skills and excellent verbal communication • Experience working with adults with severe mental illness • Comfort with evidence-based interventions such as CBT, DBT, or MI
