📋 Description

• Assist onsite MA, LPN, and RN in collaboration with the provider and healthcare team through the EMR • Work the patient task list through the EMR • Communicate clinical results and education to patients by phone or portal and document in the EMR • Perform medication prior authorizations • Document patient/family interactions, medications, and test results in medical records • Assist the care team with nursing tasks through the EMR • Communicate closely with nursing and provider teams • Ensure patient information is accurately located in charts for quality reporting and data extraction • Coordinate and manage provider-seen patient care, including tracking testing and referrals • Monitor insurance requirements and guidelines • Act as patient advocate • Monitor patients to promote wellness, health maintenance, preventive care, and chronic care • Provide patient education materials and communicate provider advice and instructions • Schedule, coordinate, and communicate specialist referrals and provider-ordered services

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to multi-task • Good organization skills • Effective communication skills • Completion of accredited Vocational/Technical Nursing Program • Unencumbered active Kansas nursing license • BLS certification • Preferred: 1–2-year experience working in a clinic setting
