📋 Description

• Serve as the key contact for assigned accounts within North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia • Provide tactical sales direction and communication strategies to defend existing business and gain new business • Implement business and marketing plans for assigned accounts with stakeholders and leadership • Deliver sales goals, including profitable year-over-year growth for the assigned territory • Increase business with existing and new accounts through prospecting and networking • Assist in key business negotiations for new opportunities • Build customer relationships based on trust and respect • Build cross-functional relationships supporting share-of-wallet growth, commercialization and onboarding • Network with co-packers, machine suppliers, OEMs and industry associations • Coordinate Sales Management, R&D, Marketing and Field Service for validation and customer trials • Manage accounts receivable at acceptable levels with assistance from the credit department • Work with Strategic Marketing and leadership on market and segment strategies • Report sales and marketing performance for monthly management reporting • Drive forecast accuracy • Manage account planning, pipeline management, profitability improvements and churn management in the CRM tool

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree • 1+ years relevant experience in technical, sales and general management, preferably within the packaging industry • Proven track record of successful sales growth and profitability • Experience with negotiations • Ability to travel domestically & internationally 60% of time • Must be authorized to work in the United States (employment authorization is verified)
