📋 Description

• Conduct cyber risk assessments of enterprise activities and operational decisions • Identify risks to the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of enterprise systems and data • Articulate cyber risk to business and technical leadership in decision-ready terms against the enterprise's risk appetite • Lead third-party cyber risk assessments, temporary risk acceptance reviews, software risk reviews, and track AI development related to cyber risk • Work with Compliance to ensure coherent risk treatment across frameworks • Evaluate cyber risk in networking, cloud, endpoint, and identity and access architectures • Specify risk reduction required when residual risk exceeds the enterprise's appetite • Contribute risk-posture perspectives to enterprise scoping and architecture decisions • Improve Cyber GR&C assessment methodology, intake, risk articulation standards, evidence handling, and consistency of risk judgments • Maintain current knowledge of cyber risk, threats, technology, and regulations • Travel up to 25 percent and perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Typically 8 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or 4 years with a Master's • Demonstrated experience in enterprise risk management and third-party or vendor cyber risk assessment • Current Security+ or equivalent industry certification • Must be a U.S. Citizen • Must reside within the United States to work remotely • Ability to recognize cyber risk in networking, cloud, endpoint, and identity and access management technologies • Working knowledge of NIST publications • Strong written and verbal communication, including explaining technical risk to non-technical stakeholders • Ability to operate autonomously on ambiguous problems with limited direction • Ability to travel up to 25 percent • Preferred: CISSP, CySA+, Microsoft SC-300, Microsoft Azure/Microsoft 365, Azure Government (GCC High), Entra ID, B2B and external identity, conditional access, privileged access, U.S. Federal or Defense Industrial Base environments, CMMC, NIST SP 800-171/172, DFARS, UK Cyber Essentials, Australian Essential Eight, UK GDPR, EU NIS2, ISO/IEC 27001, and GR&C operational process improvement • Bachelor's degree is preferred; a degree is not required and equivalent experience is fully acceptable
