📋 Description

• Build Ameresco's Medium Voltage Operations & Maintenance Department from the ground up • Lead phased hiring from an initial three-person crew to a 21-person department over five years • Develop SOPs, MOPs, JHAs, and quality management systems for medium voltage work • Internalize medium voltage preventative and corrective maintenance currently performed by third-party contractors • Manage preferred third-party MV contractors and evaluate their scope, quality, and responsiveness • Serve as internal medium voltage subject matter expert and technical escalation point • Review subcontractor issues, testing reports, and deliverables, including DGA results, relay test reports, infrared scans, and cable test results • Recommend repair versus replacement, issue escalation, and corrective-action prioritization • Oversee scheduling, dispatch, and nationwide execution of MV preventative and corrective maintenance • Ensure OSHA, NFPA 70E, safety, and regulatory compliance • Manage crew travel logistics and regional coverage optimization • Own department KPIs and maintain work records in AssetPlanner CMMS • Identify, source, procure, and stock critical MV spare parts; update IMS • Establish safety culture and conduct quarterly reviews and unannounced PPE and LOTO audits • Design training roadmap and oversee apprenticeship, skills assessments, competency evaluations, succession planning, and mentoring • Own operating budget and manage fleet, tooling, consumable, vehicle, and replacement budgets • Participate in or oversee an on-call rotation for emergency corrective maintenance • Perform other duties assigned by the Senior Director of Operations

• Experience, education, certifications, skills, and location may affect actual pay • Compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and site-specific safety and regulatory requirements • Maintain current certifications, PPE compliance, and training requirements • Availability for on-call rotation supporting 24/7 emergency corrective maintenance response, including weekends and holidays as needed • Ability to manage medium voltage operations across Ameresco's national Solar PV and BESS portfolio • Ability to develop SOPs, MOPs, JHAs, and quality management systems • Ability to use Ameresco's CMMS platform, AssetPlanner • Knowledge of medium voltage equipment, testing, maintenance, and subcontractor deliverables • Ability to manage crew travel, regional coverage, budgets, inventory, and safety programs
