📋 Description

• Teach online courses assigned by ACE using approved course content and educational materials • Interact professionally with students and facilitate a safe, productive learning environment • Respond to student requests and contact inactive students as needed • Review course functionality and content to ensure high-quality delivery • Enhance course content with personal experience, insights, and professional knowledge • Monitor assignments and provide student feedback within college policies • Synthesize and report student performance data • Support program and institutional policies, procedures, and guidelines • Aid student learning of ethical conduct related to plagiarism and copyright infringement • Direct students to supplemental resources • Collaborate with colleagues and college leadership • Promote the college vision, mission, and culture • Provide leadership within assigned responsibilities • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, networks, and professional societies • Maintain knowledge of emerging departmental issues and trends • Support and promote research to ensure program and course quality

🎯 Requirements

• Earned terminal degree (e.g., PhD, EdD, DNP, DNE) or exceptional content knowledge at the master’s level in a related field • Current unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse in required states or multi-state licensure • Current Certified Nurse Educator certification (e.g., CNE, CNEcl) • 5+ years of full-time clinical experience in the area(s) of teaching responsibility • Knowledge and skills related to teaching adults, teaching methodology, curriculum development, and evaluation • Demonstrated experience developing successful online/virtual professional relationships • Evidence of professional research and/or creative endeavors and expertise in the field • Proven teacher leadership in higher education; remote experience preferred • Ability to interpret and write analyses of sophisticated educational research documents • Current knowledge of online principles and techniques • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications • Ability to use or learn conferencing and learning management systems • Understanding and practice of appropriate relationships between students, colleagues, and leadership • Minimum 50 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload internet bandwidth from the remote work location • Reliable internet purchase, setup, installation, support, and maintenance are the individual’s responsibility • Candidates must reside in the United States; candidates residing in Alaska, Washington D.C., Massachusetts, South Dakota, or Alabama cannot be considered
