• Prepare, update, and maintain technical drawings, layouts, diagrams, and supporting design documentation • Convert engineer, technician, and program inputs into clear draft products and controlled documentation • Review sketches, specifications, markups, and reference material for drawing accuracy and completeness • Support configuration control and revision tracking for technical documents • Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and field personnel to incorporate design changes and operational feedback • Ensure drawings comply with drafting standards, customer requirements, and internal quality procedures • Assist with presentation-quality technical visuals for reviews, demonstrations, and customer deliverables • Maintain organized digital files, drawing archives, and documentation repositories • Document layouts, scenarios, or equipment configurations for technical planning efforts • Participate in design reviews and provide drafting updates based on review comments
• Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in drafting, design technology, engineering support, or a related field • Minimum 5 years of experience • Experience preparing technical drawings and documentation in a professional environment • Proficiency with computer-aided drafting and design tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MicroStation, DraftSight, or similar platforms • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple revisions and deadlines • Ability to interpret engineering notes, technical requirements, and operational concepts • Working knowledge of document control and configuration management practices • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional technical team environment • Secret clearance required
