📋 Description

• Investigate the origin and cause of property claims by contacting insureds, claimants, agents, attorneys, contractors, experts, investigators, adjusters, public personnel, and others • Identify complex issues and seek assistance as needed while handling claims in good faith • Handle 1st-party and 3rd-party claims under multiple policy types and endorsements • Conduct on-site inspections, evaluate damages, and negotiate claims with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and public adjusters • Respond to customer inquiries, make appropriate decisions, and close files as needed • Interpret policies, leases, by-laws, declarations, articles, and contract coverages and apply them to assigned losses • Provide claim process and status updates, answer questions, or redirect inquiries to other areas • Complete other assignments, job duties, or projects based on skills, achievements, or experience • Report to the Property Claim Manager and handle homeowner property field claims in the Conyers or Covington, Georgia territory

🎯 Requirements

• Must be located within the Conyers or Covington, Georgia territory • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service • Demonstrated experience handling 1st and 3rd party, multi-line claims across operating territories, or equivalent experience • Demonstrated experience handling moderately complex claims, or equivalent experience • Solid knowledge and understanding of policies and endorsements related to casualty coverages, or equivalent knowledge • Solid knowledge and understanding of each phase of the claim handling process, or equivalent knowledge • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record • Obtain state-specific property casualty claims licensing as required • Up to 50% travel; catastrophe duty up to 75% as applicable • Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing, moving through tight or confined spaces, and moving objects up to 50 pounds • Ability to work in low and high temperatures, precipitation, wind, noisy, hazardous, poorly ventilated, and small or enclosed environments • Sponsorship will not be considered unless specified in the posting • Preferred: Xactimate experience • Preferred: Field property claims adjusting experience • Selected offer contingent on applicable background checks and signing a non-disclosure agreement
