📋 Description

• Establish and manage the end-to-end external supply chain for Amgen’s new product portfolio • Drive supply planning, material readiness, and delivery of pre-clinical, clinical, and PPQ products manufactured at contract manufacturing organizations • Partner with Global Supply Chain, Product Teams, Amgen Contract Manufacturing, CMOs, and cross-functional partners to design and implement supply chain solutions • Translate program demand and manufacturing requirements into executable supply plans • Assess supply constraints and risks and coordinate mitigation actions • Deliver the right product quantity to the right location at the right time while optimizing inventory and cost • Drive site-level implementation of integrated business processes, including Plan-to-Stock, Order-to-Cash, and CMO handoff processes • Develop executable supply plans and conduct capacity and inventory scenario analyses • Assess CMO supply chain readiness, capabilities, manufacturing capacity, lead times, raw material requirements, and constraints • Oversee site-level supply chain operations and financial flows, including inventory, orders, invoices, and material movements • Establish and maintain SAP and RapidResponse master data and ensure accurate system transactions • Implement and sustain operating standards for technology transfer and new product introduction • Develop and communicate analyses, recommendations, and presentations to cross-functional and leadership audiences • Represent Supply Chain in change controls, special projects, and continuous-improvement initiatives • Collaborate with planning groups and CMOs to translate demand into production plans • Plan and allocate supply across raw materials, intermediates, drug substance, drug product, and finished drug product stages • Monitor production schedules and resolve risks to schedule adherence and supply continuity • Manage raw material ordering strategies, purchase orders, invoices, shipments, and storage planning • Coordinate shipment readiness, logistics and storage readiness, GMP shipping lanes, and import/export documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Doctorate Degree OR Master's Degree + 2 years of Engineering, Business Management or Life Science OR Bachelor's Degree + 4 years of Engineering, Business Management or Life Science OR Associates Degree + 8 years of Engineering, Business Management or Life Science OR High School Diploma/GED + 10 years of Engineering, Business Management or Life Science • Experience in a regulated manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or supply-chain environment • Demonstrated experience in supply planning, capacity or inventory analysis, and risk management • Demonstrated ability to manage complex cross-functional deliverables and influence outcomes in a matrix environment • Experience working with CMOs, suppliers, or other external partners • Experience with SAP and RapidResponse or comparable ERP and advanced-planning systems • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and facilitation skills • Ability to develop and communicate recommendations to cross-functional and leadership audiences • Experience with continuous-improvement tools, methodologies, and change management • Ability to work in the U.S.; sponsorship for this role is not guaranteed
