📋 Description

• Provide small-group tutoring to Kindergarten through Eighth Grade students remotely during the 2026–2027 school year • Deliver literacy-based lessons using Amplify’s structured, research-based curriculum • Prepare lesson plans for each 30-minute tutoring session • Log in 15 minutes before each session • Commit to assigned tutoring groups for approximately 15 weeks • Complete initial training and ongoing professional development • Apply supportive coaching and feedback • Potentially obtain additional endorsements in math tutoring, grades 3–5 literacy tutoring, grades 6–8 literacy tutoring, literacy assessments, and other special projects • Participate in online tutor communities to share ideas and learn from peers

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent • Fluent English speaker • Comfortable and highly skilled with technology • Available a minimum of 90 minutes a day, 3 days a week (Monday–Friday) at consistent times during the school day between 8am–4pm ET • Must reside within Maryland • Must meet U.S. employment eligibility requirements • Must be able to travel to Annapolis to complete fingerprinting • Must have access to a personal laptop or computer with a webcam and microphone; Chromebooks, iPads/tablets, and smartphones cannot be used • Private, quiet workspace with a professional background • Enjoy working with Kindergarten–Eighth Grade students • Interested in teaching lessons using Amplify curriculum • Willing to accept and implement ongoing coaching and feedback • Willing to participate in professional development and learning opportunities • Fingerprint-based background checks required before working with students • Must complete paid training within 2 weeks of start date • Must complete tax documents, I-9 verification, contractor agreement, and name-based national background check
