📋 Description

• Develops and nurtures relationships with prospective and existing borrowers through self-sourced and assigned leads to generate mortgage loan volume. • Drives business development through community engagement, partnerships with real estate professionals and local organizations, and active use of social media to build brand awareness and generate leads. • Meets with borrowers and referral partners in the field to originate mortgage loans. • Advises borrowers on available mortgage products, sets clear expectations for the loan process, and maintains up-to-date knowledge of lending options.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent mortgage lending experience. • Registration as a MLO with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) and Registry on an annual basis. • Experience in proper loan pricing based on credit union rate determinations and understanding the use of points or discounts. • Must have experience with Desktop Underwriter and/or Loan Prospector underwriting systems. • Be efficient with the use of a personal computer, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), Credit Bureau Systems and financial calculators. • High school diploma or GED. • Must be bondable. • Must have reliable internet access of 50MBPS.
