📋 Description

• Manage one or more Information Technology-driven projects within the AMSURG IT Department • Manage executive stakeholders, key project teams, and project completion and transition to operations • Manage projects from discovery, strategy, and planning through execution, transition, and closeout • Initiate, coordinate, and complete multiple parallel projects across business areas and departments • Build and maintain relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments • Own stakeholder management and set customer expectations • Define project scope, objectives, success metrics, and success criteria with senior management and relevant stakeholders • Document current-state and target-state processes and environments • Develop and present project plans and communications documents • Monitor and track project progress • Estimate and allocate resources and participants • Assign responsibilities and summarize progress • Identify and resolve project-team issues and conflicts; escalate when necessary • Manage project dependencies and critical paths • Manage scope changes and change control; develop and execute contingency plans • Develop project documentation including progress reports, proposals, requirements, and presentations • Use project delivery metrics to measure and improve team performance • Conduct project post-mortems and drive continuous improvement • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and standardize project tracking methods • Contribute to the IT Project Management Office • Coordinate with project management and IT teams to achieve project goals • Educate project team members in project management • Comply with corporate compliance, policy, reporting, and mandatory training requirements • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 0–2 years of project management experience in an enterprise environment • 0–2 years of prior experience in a healthcare setting strongly preferred • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university • PMI Project Management Professional Certification or equivalent strongly preferred • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment • Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities • Ability to react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently • Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors across disciplines • Ability to elicit cooperation from upper management, clients, and other departments • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to defuse tension among project team members • Exceptional written and oral communication skills • Ability to conduct research into project-related issues and products • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment • Must provide own insured transportation to and from work and other outside locations based on job needs • Ability to comply with company policies, procedures, code of conduct, ethics statements, and mandatory training requirements
