📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and performance-manage a team of up to 15 research professionals • Conduct regular one-on-ones, set goals, and drive ongoing skill development • Own team research quality and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures • Maintain professional genealogical standards • Oversee project allocation and assist with operational bottlenecks • Directly manage a small portfolio of client research projects • Partner with Operations Directors on team goals, hiring, and business operations • Collaborate with Client Relationship Managers to resolve client concerns • Interface with executive leadership on client experience and product quality • Maintain active involvement in casework and industry best practices

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of professional genealogy experience • 5–10 years of recent experience in Probate, Lineage and/or General US Research • 2–5 years of direct team management experience • Proven track record of developing talent, managing performance, and resolving operational bottlenecks • Exceptional communication skills and experience delivering constructive feedback • Strong time management skills to balance management duties with active billable research • Certified or Accredited Professional Genealogist credential preferred • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred • All job offers are contingent on a background check screen that complies with applicable law
