They provide submetering, resident billing (including RUBS), meter installation and maintenance, utility expense management, invoice auditing, utility rate and tariff analysis, energy audits and procurement, benchmarking, and vacancy cost recovery. Anchor serves multifamily, new construction, single-family BTR, and student housing markets across the U. S. (and into Canada and Mexico), focusing on increasing NOI, regulatory compliance, and conservation goals.

📋 Description

• Configure and validate rate setups for new submetered properties • Audit provider bills on RUBS properties to ensure the first billing cycle is correct • Complete tariff and rate audits within 60 days of a property's first billing • Document audit findings and identify savings and revenue • Monitor rate changes across service territories • Research new rate structures and implement them by their effective date • Translate rate changes into clear briefings for Billing Operations, Client Success, and clients • Resolve escalated rate questions • Support account reviews as the rates subject-matter expert • Refine procedures and lead rate-management projects

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with utility rates, consumption analysis, reporting, or similar analytical work • Ability to interpret complex rate schedules and tariffs • Prior tariff audit or utility cost recovery experience • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with minimal supervision • Clear written and verbal communication • Advanced Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, and formulas • Solid data-analysis ability • Industry experience in utility billing, submetering, RUBS, or utility management is a bonus • Experience across multiple states or service territories is a bonus • Familiarity with state billing rules, such as submetering and RUBS fee limits, is a bonus • Experience with a billing platform is a bonus • Resume and a few sentences about a time you caught an error in a bill, report, or data set others missed
