📋 Description

• Supervise and manage a small team of career services advisors • Provide day-to-day leadership of the Career Services Advising Team • Support and drive PAC meetings and associated metrics in partnership with Academics • Support compliance through regular process auditing and training facilitation • Collaborate with the education department to ensure Career Planning classes support successful placement outcomes • Ensure students complete Career Planning with professional resumes, entry-level interviewing skills, mock interviews, and job-search proficiency • Complete required exit paperwork in group and one-on-one settings • Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions with students • Document all Career Services correspondence with students and graduates in CampusVue • Assist instructors and students with resume preparation and development • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Associate Degree in a related field from an academic institution accredited by a regional or national accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education • 2 years related experience • Minimum 1 year management experience • Knowledge of and experience with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in staffing and/or placement environment • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated success collaborating with diverse groups of employees and customers • Ability to lead and work in an observation/coaching style environment • Strong organizational and problem-resolution skills • Good computer skills, including MS Office products • Occasional ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, previous management experience in the placement/staffing industry, and previous experience as a campus-based Career Services Director are preferred
