📋 Description

• Build software AI labs use to run their compute • Build the first versions of a new product with principal engineers and customers’ research and infrastructure teams • Develop backend services in Go against Kubernetes and Postgres • Build a TypeScript console • Manage each customer’s clusters • Carry a pager and talk to customers every week • Unify clusters from Andromeda, other providers, and customer-owned sites under one login and one way to run jobs • Provide visibility into cluster health, usage, spend, and alerts • Build organizations, roles, and SSO across customer clusters • Enable customers to identify unused GPUs, offer idle capacity on the marketplace, and reclaim it when needed • Identify customer problems, decide what to build next, and ship it

🎯 Requirements

• Impressive technical work with impact in the world; experience may range from three years to twenty • Experience building multi-tenant systems, including authorization, organizations, and tenant data separation • Fluency with Kubernetes; experience building against the Kubernetes API • Experience building telemetry pipelines for metrics, logs, or events • Production services experience in Go, or systems background sufficient to ship production Go within the first month • Front-end development ability sufficient to ship the front end for owned features • Production on-call experience carrying a pager for a customer-dependent system • Backend and infrastructure focus rather than front-end-only experience • Ability to work from customer problems and rough sketches rather than requiring detailed specifications • Interest in building a new, not-yet-shipped product • Individual contributor role; not a management role • Strong candidates may have ML or HPC infrastructure experience, including training clusters, Slurm, or job schedulers • Strong candidates may have experience with cloud consoles or developer platforms • Strong candidates may have enterprise identity experience, including SSO, SCIM, and identity provider integrations • Strong candidates may have experience syncing or replicating large datasets across clusters or regions
