📋 Description

• Manage governed platform access for engineers, analysts, and services • Streamline orchestration and scheduling by consolidating fragmented scheduling tools • Use AI-assisted tooling to migrate jobs with less manual engineering effort • Drive data ingestion and replication through self-service platform capabilities • Oversee retirement of legacy systems and hand off ownership clearly • Optimize compute cost efficiency without reducing developer experience • Advance compute strategy diversification across storage and compute engines • Build an AI-ready platform substrate with governed access and audit trails • Use AI agents in daily work and establish norms for agentic workflows • Protect team focus and steward outcomes rather than tasks • Build trust across engineering, domain teams, and leadership • Collaborate with Data Mesh Enablement, Managed Data Products, and agentic workflow teams on an overall technical strategy

🎯 Requirements

• Five or more years of product management experience on a data or infrastructure platform team • Direct experience stewarding technical roadmaps • Comfortable reading system architecture and pipeline dependencies to make sequencing decisions with engineering • Record of completing cross-team migrations and retirements • Transparent about areas of growth and open to learning • Preferred: experience weighing compute cost against performance and developer experience • Preferred: working knowledge of how AI agents consume data and tools differently from people • Preferred: judgment on when a vendor's own agent layer covers a need • Preferred: proactive approach to understanding new technical systems, key contacts, and open questions independently • Legally authorized to work in the United States
