• Design and execute quantitative UX research studies addressing complex user experience questions • Lead or contribute to surveys, concept and prototype testing, tracking/benchmarking, unmoderated task-based studies, card sorting, tree testing, segmentation, MaxDiff, Conjoint, and JTBD research • Lead studies across scoping, design, analysis, and client delivery, depending on experience level • Coordinate with panel and recruitment vendors on sample design, feasibility, fielding logistics, data quality, and participant criteria • Program and QA surveys using platforms such as Qualtrics or Alchemer • Apply descriptive, inferential, and multivariate statistical techniques • Interpret findings into product and experience strategy recommendations • Communicate insights to UX practitioners and senior product executives • Produce data visualizations and actionable deliverables • Partner with qualitative researchers on mixed-methods research programs • Evaluate emerging data science and AI-augmented research methods • Build trusted client relationships and contribute to account growth • Collaborate on study scoping, proposal development, and research design • Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to AnswerLab’s quantitative research practice and knowledge library
• Bachelor's degree in a human behavior-related field with 4+ years of relevant experience; or Master's or PhD in a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience • Senior-level candidates typically bring 7+ years of quantitative research experience • Substantive expertise in quantitative UX research methods • Experience with large-scale datasets and multi-method studies • Proficiency with a survey programming platform such as Qualtrics or Alchemer • Ability to apply descriptive, inferential, and multivariate statistical techniques, including t-tests, ANOVA, regression, factor analysis, and cluster analysis • Fluency in at least one statistical analysis or data visualization tool such as Q Research, DisplayR, SPSS, R, or Python • Ability to translate quantitative findings into strategic narratives • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to senior client stakeholders • Ability to connect research insights to business and experience strategy decisions • Experience in cross-functional, client-facing environments • Curiosity about emerging methods, tools, technologies, and AI’s role in research • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment across multiple projects • Commitment to mentorship and team development
