📋 Description

• Prepare and manage FDOT Driveway Connection Permit applications, including technical documentation and coordination with FDOT reviewers • Develop Traffic Impact Statements (TIS) for cities and counties throughout Florida • Conduct operational analyses and traffic modeling using Synchro/SimTraffic, including scenario development and LOS evaluation • Perform traffic signal design, including plans, timing sheets, and coordination plans in alignment with FDOT and local agency standards • Prepare technical reports, design documents, and supporting calculations • Coordinate with clients, project managers, and permitting agencies • Support multidisciplinary teams on transportation engineering projects

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field • Florida PE license, or ability to obtain within 6 months • 3+ years of experience in traffic or transportation engineering • Valid drivers license and clean driving history • Sponsorship not available now or in the future • Proficiency in Synchro/SimTraffic • HCS (preferred) • MicroStation or AutoCAD (preferred) • Experience with FDOT driveway connection permitting • Experience with Traffic Impact Statements for local municipalities • Experience with traffic signal design
