📋 Description

• Work under the direction of a Project Executive and Project Manager to support the structural design and delivery of projects from concept through construction. • Perform structural analysis, design, and review of structural systems and components for a variety of building types and project sectors. • Assist in the development of structural solutions that align with project objectives, schedules, budgets, and constructability requirements. • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, fabricators, and other project stakeholders to coordinate project requirements and resolve design challenges. • Prepare structural calculations, design documents, technical reports, specifications, and construction drawings. • Review project documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, and industry standards. • Support the Project Executive and Project Manager in responding to client requests, RFIs, submittals, and construction-phase engineering needs. • Participate in project meetings and contribute technical input to support project decision-making and successful project execution. • Utilize structural analysis, modeling, and drafting software to develop efficient and effective design solutions. • Maintain quality standards and adhere to Apex's established design, documentation, and project delivery processes.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering. • Master’s degree in civil or structural engineering is a plus. • PE certification. • 4+ years of structural engineering experience. • An advanced understanding of relevant building codes, materials, and standards. • Excellent communication skills are required, both verbal and written. • Software skills with any of the following are a plus: Tekla Structural Designer, Excel, Idea Statica, BlueBeam, RISA Suite, Revit and Ram Connection. • Attention to detail, logical problem-solving skills, and strong organizational skills. • Passion for steel and concrete design and growing professional knowledge and skills in steel and concrete construction.
