📋 Description

• Provide end-to-end program management for interoperability call orders and features aligned to management operational informatics pipeline and clinical operational informatics pipeline requirements • Lead delivery of the eHealth Exchange program and product management, including partner onboarding, membership access, analytics, policy coordination, and performance monitoring • Oversee implementation and sustainment of ADT/eNotifications capabilities and adoption support for VA medical centers • Manage interoperability activities supporting VA/DoD shared health records, CHDR evaluation, JLV enablement, and interagency exchange use cases • Ensure interoperability solutions align with HL7®, FHIR®, CDA®, SNOMED CT®, LOINC®, and other national interoperability standards as applicable • Coordinate with Integration and Clinical Informatics Solutions teams to ensure interoperability features integrate with enterprise data pipelines, dashboards, and clinical workflows • Maintain program risk registers, dependency logs, and mitigation plans; report progress using program-required flow efficiency, capacity allocation, value delivered, and next-iteration planning • Ensure deliverables meet acceptance criteria and VA security, privacy, and data governance requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field • Minimum of 15 years of experience managing healthcare IT or interoperability programs • Demonstrated experience managing health information exchange (HIE) or standards-based interoperability initiatives • Experience delivering work in SAFe® or Agile environments using Jira/Jira Align • Demonstrated understanding of VA healthcare technology development and sustainment programs (e.g. ServiceNow, Federal EHR) and VA IT and data platforms (e.g. Corporate Data Warehouse (CDW), VistA/CPRS) • Familiarity with eHealth Exchange, VHIE, JLV, or interagency data-sharing initiatives • Desired: Experience supporting VA, DoD, or other federal health interoperability programs
