📋 Description

• Author, review, and maintain DBT models using Spark/Hudi from ingest through bronze and silver • Help clients understand data models, assumptions, and limitations through intentional validation • Troubleshoot and fix issues, then write DBT tests proactively • Optimize SQL performance for slow-running jobs • Partner with Data Engineering on Hudi table design, partition strategy, and incremental patterns • Triage and classify data quality alerts • Design and maintain volume and data-quality monitors • Author and apply clinical data-quality and claims-validation rules across silver and gold layers • Conduct quality reviews for connector promotions • Own the ticket queue for data-quality, attribution, hierarchy, and customer-specific issues • Lead data-quality reviews during connector installation and promotion • Partner with Data Engineering on root-cause triage • Coordinate with the Measure Implementation Team when data-quality issues affect quality-measure scores • Contribute to and enforce data-modeling standards across teams • Independently resolve pipeline data-quality issues • Author or refactor DBT models and design DBT test suites

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business, Economics, or a related field • Advanced SQL, including window functions, complex CTEs, aggregation patterns, and performance tuning on columnar databases • Hands-on DBT experience authoring models, tests, macros, and YAML documentation; familiarity with incremental strategies • Working knowledge of healthcare claims data, clinical EHR entities, and quality dimensions • Ability to differentiate source-data issues from transformation issues • Ability to design systematic validation checks and communicate data-quality findings clearly • Clear communication with clients and non-technical stakeholders • Strong analytical judgment • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and use AI tooling efficiently • Genuine desire to learn and apply AI tools • Experience with Spark SQL and Hudi table format • Familiarity with data-quality monitoring tools • Comfort using Claude in an AI-first environment • Exposure to population-health analytics concepts, including HEDIS, risk adjustment, and value-based-care metrics • Python scripting for data investigation and automation • Experience with Argo Workflows or similar orchestration platforms • Knowledge of healthcare data standards including ICD-10, CPT, NDC, LOINC, and NPI
