📋 Description

• Lead the mechanical discipline on multiple concurrent projects through pursuit, proposal, design, and construction phases • Lead design teams and mentor junior staff • Develop construction-ready design packages of drawings and specifications with inter-discipline coordination • Serve as the Engineer of Record • Work with architects, engineers, project managers, and clients to design HVAC systems and sustainable solutions • Develop budgets, proposals, schedules, project plans, and staffing plans • Pursue potential clients and project opportunities • Travel to project sites for engineering site surveys and data collection • Collaborate with clients’ team members

🎯 Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required for federal employment eligibility • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering • At least 10 to 15 years of experience or more in consulting engineering and performing facility design • Experience producing IFC design packages for federal agency facilities • Professional Engineering Licensure in the United States • Knowledge of industry standards, including ASHRAE and building codes • Knowledge of federal agency standards such as UFC and UFGS • Fluency in Revit, BIM, Autodesk Construction Cloud, AutoCAD, Trane Trace, and SpecsIntact • Strong communication skills for presentations, project communications, and written documents • Ability to build positive relationships with internal and external team members
