📋 Description

• Supervise daily construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards. • Enforce safety protocols and monitor compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. • Prepare detailed daily and weekly reports on construction progress, site conditions, and any challenges encountered. • Identify and resolve on-site engineering and construction issues as they arise.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. • Professional Engineer (PE) license • 12 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a focus on large shafts, excavation, and tunneling projects. • Preference for candidates with specific experience in Sequential Excavation Method (SEM) tunneling. • Strong ability to act as a liaison between contractors, site supervisors, and project engineers. • Proven track record of enforcing safety protocols and monitoring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. • Excellent skills in preparing detailed reports and maintaining comprehensive records of on-site activities. • Demonstrated expertise in identifying and resolving on-site engineering and construction issues, particularly those related to excavation and tunneling operations. • Local experience in Manhattan or similar urban environments is helpful but not required.
