📋 Description

• Perform initial assessments, diagnosis, and documentation to determine placement for level of care • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions and document each event • Communicate medical necessity of services using American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) guidelines • Complete appeals processes with third-party payers as needed • Communicate clearly and accurately with staff • Coordinate with program administration • Organize professional development and training in diagnosis, assessment, therapy, and charting/documentation • Demonstrate professional and caring attitudes toward co-workers, patients, and guests • Maintain an effective clinical organizational structure and delegate appropriate authority • Comply with and communicate administrative, personnel, and clinical policies and procedures • Evaluate the impact of therapeutic interventions on the therapeutic milieu

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum bachelor's degree in Drug and Alcohol Counseling and/or master's degree in Clinical Counseling or Social Work • Must hold a Kentucky license • Must hold an active professional certification/license recognized by the state of Kentucky for counseling individuals with a Substance Use Disorder Diagnosis • One of the following licenses required: CADC, LCADC, LPCA, LPCC, CSW, LCSW, AMFT, or LMFT • Minimum of 2 years of administrative and management setting familiarity • Familiarity with Performance Improvement and Standards • Communication skills to relate to all levels of management and counseling staff • Self-motivated and confident • Ability to apply Continuous Quality Improvement/Performance Improvement philosophy and develop organizational strategy
