📋 Description

• Analyze title insurance risks, underwriting issues, and regulatory concerns • Provide underwriting solutions to agents, sales team, and title examiners in accordance with Westcor company guidelines and local, state, and federal law • Handle residential and limited commercial transactions underwriting • Present training seminars to educate title agents and production staff, both online and in person • Provide outstanding customer service while making sound underwriting decisions • Handle a high volume of underwriting inquiries via email and telephone in a timely, responsive, and professional manner • Analyze and respond to indemnity requests • Travel with sales staff for agent visits throughout the state • Work well in a remote team environment

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree • Minimum 3 years of experience concentrated in Florida real property and title insurance • Must be a member in good standing with the Florida Bar • Thorough knowledge of Florida real property law and related areas as applicable to real property transactions • Knowledge of the Florida title insurance industry • Excellent oral and written communications skills • Relationship building • Problem solving • Decision making • Excellent understanding of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of real estate title and settlement process • Ability to travel with sales staff for agent visits throughout the state • Ability to work in a remote team environment
