📋 Description

• Provide legal support in general corporate and commercial matters • Negotiate and manage contracts • Mitigate legal risk while considering business and operational needs • Advise on legal issues relating to company business practices • Review, draft, and assist in negotiating contracts, agreements, corporate policies, and standard operating procedures • Assist with regulatory compliance issues • Review and update confidentiality agreements • Assist in developing legal training materials • Maintain executed agreements and other corporate documents • Perform additional duties as required

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required (Engineering or other technical degrees are a plus) • Juris Doctorate is required • Must be a licensed attorney and in good standing to practice law in the United States • Previous legal experience is a plus, but not required • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required • Strong analytic, critical thinking, and sound judgment abilities • Meticulous attention to detail • Spanish/Japanese bilingual abilities and/or experience living in Japan or working with Japanese companies are a plus • Ability to travel up to 5% annually
