📋 Description

• Provide practical, business-oriented legal support to Commercial, Market Access, Payer Relations, and Sales teams • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including customer, payer, service, consignment, EHR integration, and strategic commercial contracts • Advise business partners on healthcare laws, regulations, and industry standards affecting commercial activities • Partner with Legal, Compliance, Regulatory, Sales, Market Access, HEOR, Payer Marketing, Customer Experience, and other cross-functional teams • Develop and improve contract templates, negotiation playbooks, processes, and legal-support tools • Lead or support negotiations for strategic commercial transactions • Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting medical device, digital health, healthcare, and life sciences industries • Translate legal and regulatory developments into actionable business guidance • Conduct legal research and prepare written guidance for the Legal Department and Company commercial objectives

🎯 Requirements

• JD and licensed in good standing to practice law in at least one state and one federal jurisdiction within the United States • 5+ years of commercial agreement experience, including health law, medical device, or life sciences • General knowledge and/or experience with fraud and abuse laws, including Anti-kickback and Stark • Knowledge of compliance • Knowledge of HIPAA and HITECH • Knowledge of the National Physician Payment Transparency Program (Sunshine Act) • Commercial and Government Payer experience is a plus • Excellent writing ability, research skills, and analytical thinking • Self-starter able to complete projects in a timely and accurate manner • Exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, high-volume organization • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with cross-functional collaboration • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Ability to flex working times to align with the Pacific Time Zone
