📋 Description

• Provide legal counsel for commercial real estate services business lines, with a focus on brokerage services • Negotiate, review, and draft contracts • Manage risk and provide general legal advice • Review internal shared services documentation, including leases, vendor agreements, and procurement documents • Serve as a trusted advisor to service line professionals • Support senior legal colleagues and business line leadership with research and other projects • Develop positive and collaborative relationships across Colliers • Ensure common understanding of objectives and service level agreements • Perform other assigned job-related duties

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school • Active member of at least one State Bar in good standing • 3 to 8 years of legal experience • Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in a fast-paced and high-volume environment • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking focused on practical client advice on legal risks • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills • Ability to work independently and within a team environment • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Knowledge of general commercial law and real estate agreements and transactions • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis • Employer will not sponsor applicants for work visas
