📋 Description

• Oversee airport design and construction projects • Serve as a client manager for airport design and construction projects within specific regions • Provide mentoring to junior staff • Perform quality assurance and quality control • Lead project engineering • Supervise and mentor staff • Control the quality of project design and contract documents • Provide office support during construction • Participate in project planning, regulatory approvals, environmental compliance, financial planning, legislative strategy, land acquisition, and design phasing • Support projects from design through completion

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field • Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Engineer in Training (EIT) will be considered • 4+ years' experience in the airport design and/or construction field, either in private industry or government service • Airport design and project management experience • Aviation engineering and construction administration experience • Strong knowledge of FAA advisory circulars related to airport design and the FAA grant process • Strong computer skills • Excellent communication skills • Ability to lead and mentor existing staff and develop new staff as needed to support growth of the aviation group • Self-motivated, team-oriented individual able to work on challenging projects in a team environment • Must reside in Texas • Willingness to travel to client sites, project locations, and offices as needed • Required Professional Engineer license or Engineer in Training credential • Preferred PMP certification
