📋 Description

• Provide financial aid processing and student support to campuses experiencing backlog volume, staffing gaps, or temporary operational needs • Assist with special projects that support department priorities, improve workflow consistency, and strengthen service delivery across campuses • Advise students and families on financial aid eligibility, application procedures, and available funding sources • Support students through FAFSA completion, verification, and award acceptance • Explain loan terms, repayment obligations, and financial literacy concepts • Help students resolve financial aid issues affecting enrollment or continued education • Package and process financial aid awards in compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations • Maintain complete and current student records for timely and accurate disbursement • Identify and resolve inconsistencies in student accounts • Communicate with students about documentation requirements, award status, and funding opportunities • Review student accounts to ensure financial aid is applied accurately and disbursed on schedule • Collaborate with academic and student services teams and external agencies • Partner with National Team leadership and financial aid leaders to improve efficiency and student outcomes • Maintain accurate records of student interactions and financial aid documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Professional demeanor • Ability to work independently, understand goals and deadlines • Excellent communication and organizational skills • High school diploma or equivalent • Minimum of 1 year of experience in financial aid, student services, customer service, or a related field • Strong customer service orientation and passion for helping others • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Excellent communication and counseling skills • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a collaborative team environment • Must be eligible to enroll in the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred • Prior experience in higher education or financial aid administration preferred • Familiarity with Title IV regulations and institutional financial aid policies preferred • Understanding of financial literacy principles and student loan repayment options preferred
