📋 Description

• Serve as Project Manager for one or more projects within the DEAN program • Provide day-to-day management of assigned project activities • Ensure deliverables are completed on scope, on schedule, and within budget • Plan, initiate, manage, execute, and close out assigned projects supporting VHA's integrated health care system • Apply structured project management methodologies aligned with PMI standards and federal contracting requirements • Provide project-level status updates to the Task Order Project Lead (TOPL) / Program Manager • Escalate risks and issues and recommend mitigation strategies • Develop and maintain project schedules, risk and issue logs, action item trackers, and status reports according to VA documentation standards • Coordinate with internal project teams, VA program offices, and partner contractors • Align efforts, resolve dependencies, and drive execution of assigned workstreams within the DEAN transformation initiative • Monitor project performance metrics • Participate in lessons-learned reviews and support continuous improvement of project execution processes

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience successfully managing a large-scale program encompassing multiple projects, with a total lifecycle budget and complexity comparable to the task order, including at least 4 years supporting a large corporation, government agency, or health care organization • BA/BS Degree in a relevant field such as Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related discipline • Experience planning, initiating, managing, executing, and closing out programs or projects in support of an agency's mission • Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Position of Public Trust clearance (Tier 2 / MBI) • Compliance with VA information security, privacy, and system access requirements, including VA PIV credentialing and relevant onboarding standards • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or comparable quality-equivalent certification required at time of hire • Minimum of four years' experience supporting a large corporation or government agency, preferably a large Health Care organization • Familiarity with standard operations of VHA preferred • Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with organizational leadership preferred • Knowledge of the DEAN mission and function preferred
