📋 Description

• Provide counseling and therapy treatment remotely via telemedicine to patients of Community Health Center partners • Provide evidence-based individual and group therapy, including CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, psychoeducation, trauma therapy, addiction therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and bereavement/grief counseling • Engage patients in their treatment plans • Review and sign patient psychosocial assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and consents in a timely manner • Maintain clinic records and document services and patient activities in compliance with clinical, contractual, regulatory, and legal requirements • Conduct crisis intervention for individuals and families based on safety plans • Participate in case planning with the Multidisciplinary Team to determine appropriate patient disposition • Participate in individual and group supervision • Complete ongoing education, in-services, training, post-testing, skill observation, and competency assessments • Provide case management services to promote recovery and community reintegration • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Active, unrestricted mental health license in state of primary residence and California • Bilingual capability • Licensed Independent Therapist credential: LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT • Comfortable working in a remote environment • Patient-first mindset • Trained and/or certified in evidence-based trauma modalities such as TF-CBT, EMDR, Brain Spotting, Somatic-Based Approaches, Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic Attachment-Based Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Polyvagal Theory, or Family Systems (IFS) • Ability to sit for extended periods during working hours • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for using a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment • Adequate vision for reading computer screens and documents • Clear verbal and written communication skills for virtual meetings and correspondence • Sufficient hearing ability for phone calls or virtual meetings • Access to a quiet, dedicated workspace with reliable internet connectivity • Successful completion of comprehensive background checks and drug screenings as a condition of employment
