📋 Description
• Facilitate patient movement across markets based on acuity, bed availability, and service requirements • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure appropriate levels of care • Connect requesting physicians with specialty consultants and maintain relationships with referral sources • Assist and maintain records with pre-registration, insurance verification, and overall care processes for process improvement purposes • Monitor status changes and relay pertinent medical reports to admitting physicians and nursing units
🎯 Requirements
• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire • Bachelors in Nursing • BLS Provider preferred; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted • 2+ years Emergency Department (ED) experience, charge nurse or some type of leadership preferred • Must be within 1 hour of Milwaukee, WI • Full-time night shift availability from 7pm to 7am
