📋 Description

• Investigate and resolve issues reported by users of Agent Assist • Reproduce issues and trace failures across LLM responses and prompts, agent workflows and orchestration, and tool/MCP calls and backend integrations • Analyze logs, traces, and telemetry using tools such as Langfuse and NewRelic • Document findings and partner with engineering on resolutions using Azure DevOps • Identify whether issues originate from prompting, retrieval (RAG), tool selection, or backend systems • Propose improvements to agents, skills, prompts, and workflows • Use AI-powered tools such as Cursor to accelerate debugging, analysis, and solutioning • Contribute to system reliability and response quality improvements • Train internal users on Agent Assist • Run targeted demos, onboarding sessions, and office hours • Advise client-facing associates on Agent Assist • Drive adoption by explaining capabilities and limitations • Collaborate with engineering, product, and AI teams • Translate user issues into actionable tickets and improvements • Identify recurring patterns and escalate systemic issues • Protect, secure, and properly handle confidential Ascensus and client data

🎯 Requirements

• Up to 3 years’ experience in a Software Engineering, Software Support, QA, SDET, or engineering-adjacent role, including internships, co-ops, or academic projects • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Information Systems, or a related technical field • Ability to troubleshoot and debug technical issues with a focus on root cause analysis • Foundational experience or exposure to API testing using Postman or similar tools • Experience reading logs and debugging application behavior • Basic SQL or data inspection • Exposure to or strong interest in AI/LLM-based systems through coursework, projects, or hands-on experimentation • Experience using or willingness to learn AI-powered development tools such as Cursor and Claude Code • Strong communication skills for explaining technical issues to non-technical users • Curiosity and ability to learn quickly in a fast-evolving technical environment • Must complete a video interview assessment within 7 days of receiving the link • Must have a smartphone, tablet, or desktop computer with camera and microphone enabled for the assessment • Experience supporting or building AI/agent-based applications preferred • Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), tool/agent orchestration, and prompt engineering preferred • Ascensus does not provide visa sponsorship now or in the future • Candidates working under OPT are not hired
