📋 Description

• Analyze operational and expense trends • Assist operational corporate staff and ownership with financial reviews • Perform financial modeling to analyze property performance and make recommendations • Monitor current industry market conditions and trends • Underwrite acquisition targets and prepare analytical reports • Review and propose budgets by comparing current actuals with pro forma financials • Make hold/sell/refinance recommendations • Prepare and present materials for new and existing investments • Support acquisition, financing, and disposition processes • Assist with investor reporting requests • Facilitate monthly reporting, trending, forecasting, and projections • Make recommendations regarding property operations • Value existing real estate assets using historical operating and financial performance • Model future real estate asset financial performance using operating standards and due diligence information • Compile, log, and interpret due diligence information concerning financial and real estate asset performance, physical asset condition, market conditions, and third-party reports • Perform financial analysis of transactions, including cash-on-cash and leveraged/unleveraged returns • Prepare investment analysis packages including transaction overview, market overview, financial analysis, and sensitivity analysis

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor and/or Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field preferred • Past operational experience in residential property management, preferably student housing • Excellent critical reasoning, quantitative, and analytical skills • Deep understanding of financial concepts • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills • Proven organizational skills with attention to detail • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data in Excel • Experience with Entrata software is a plus
