📋 Description

• Develop and lead the strategy for logistics, repair, and distribution networks • Establish demand planning and forecasting processes integrated with financial forecasts • Oversee the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and balance supply and demand • Create capacity models to optimize resource utilization and customer expectations • Optimize stock levels and inventory management across regions and depots • Lead operational productivity analyses and global inventory strategy improvements • Develop and automate customer-based KPI reporting • Analyze business and financial results to guide strategic decisions • Monitor and enhance forecasting and operational performance metrics • Partner with procurement, forecasting, business development, clients, and actuaries • Foster cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement • Manage and mentor directors and managers across planning, analytics, procurement, and order management • Provide career development and guidance to planning staff • Manage inventory budgets exceeding $100M and drive margin growth • Support cost reduction initiatives while maintaining service levels

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field • Minimum of 10 years in supply chain, logistics, or related fields • At least 3 years in a leadership role managing cross-functional teams • Proficiency in forecasting and inventory planning systems • Reverse logistics and mobile industry supply chain experience • Expert-level Excel skills, including pivot tables and trend analysis • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities • Proven ability to lead process improvements and cross-functional initiatives • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to influence senior stakeholders • Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, Great Plains, or similar inventory management platforms • APICS CPIM/CSCP certification or equivalent helpful • Knowledge of AI and automation-based initiatives helpful • Strong knowledge of S&OP processes and best practices helpful • Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in fast-paced environments helpful • Ability to strategically address complex issues with tactical solutions helpful
