📋 Description

• Shape the Discourse Graphs product strategy with the founders • Determine product direction, priorities, and execution approach • Talk weekly with researchers using the tools • Translate user feedback into an ordered work queue with the designer and developers • Show ideas through working prototypes and written documentation • Prioritize work based on user needs and product vision • Guide the team as a team member without assigning tasks, running sprints, or acting as Scrum Master • Design, build, and test new ways of supporting collaborative science • Participate in user research, product pilots, and regular retrospectives • Collaborate with engineers, designers, researchers, founders, and research labs

🎯 Requirements

• Experience synthesizing diverse user needs and feedback into high-level priorities and concrete prototypes • Usability-focused design instinct • Habit of talking with users every week • Experience showing ideas as prototypes • Ability to work alongside designers and engineers rather than handing work to them • Experience working without a manager • Ability to notice what needs doing, take it on, and keep others posted in writing • Ability to overlap with North American working hours • CV, application note, description of previous work in this area, and a product-direction work sample or prototype required for application
