📋 Description

• Serve as a field-based professional providing scientific, clinical, and therapeutic-area expertise for AstraZeneca’s lupus program and other immunology compounds in development • Engage in scientific exchange with medical and scientific experts, healthcare professionals, and researchers • Identify pre-clinical, clinical, and post-marketing study investigators • Provide actionable information to internal collaborators to improve the value and appropriate use of AstraZeneca products • Respond to customer inquiries with focused, balanced clinical and scientific information • Deliver clinical and scientific information that clinically differentiates AstraZeneca products • Provide clinical support and deliver data presentations regionally and nationally

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced Clinical/Science Degree required (e.g., MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, NP, PA) • At least 2 years of experience in a Medical Science Liaison role or related therapeutic experience • Knowledge of customer segments and market dynamics • Demonstrated expertise in discussing scientific content with varying audiences • Excellent time management and organizational skills • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to travel 50–70% • Must reside in the territory • Immunology, rheumatology, or biologic experience desirable • Extensive Medical Science Liaison experience highly desirable for candidates without a doctorate-level degree
