📋 Description

• Assist with grading and course management for remotely delivered Universal Learner Courses • Support faculty with learner assessment in online courses • Provide feedback and grade learner activities and assignments • Monitor and grade assignments • Help learners navigate challenges within Universal Learner Courses • Address learner challenges through course Discussion boards • Monitor and engage in Discussion board activities • Host live learner sessions as assigned by faculty • Participate in initial training and calibration sessions • Complete other tasks assigned by the Learning Enterprise team

🎯 Requirements

• Associate's degree and one (1) year of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field, or equivalent combination of experience and/or training • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship • Must complete mandatory fingerprinting • Must be based in Arizona; special permissions are required for out-of-state employment and may not be granted • Significant understanding of course concepts • Ability to provide substantive feedback and grade assignments in a timely manner • Strong written and verbal skills • Bachelor's degree in a related course or area of experience (desired) • Commitment to advancing education equity for scholars in underserved communities • Excellent engagement, team-building, and communication skills • Prior teaching experience is a plus, preferably with high-school students • Experience as a tutor and/or with student success • Experience with Canvas or a comparable Learning Management System • Ability to work proactively with limited oversight • Ability to excel in changing or challenging circumstances • Content knowledge and/or coursework in a related field • Commitment to provide consistent student support • Proficient in English and completion of ENG 101, ENG 102, ENG 105, or equivalent • Cover letter and resume/CV required • Employment is contingent upon successful background and fingerprint checks
