📋 Description

• Deliver instruction to students in grades 6–12 as a digital educator • Determine instructional techniques, strategies, and methods, adapting curriculum and learning styles to meet and assess student needs • Maintain communication with parents/guardians about academic and discipline issues through phone calls, notes, progress reports, and other media • Perform clerical duties, including logging communication in SIS and finalizing grades • Meet regular and predictable attendance requirements as assigned by the manager • Develop activities, resources, lesson plans, strategies, and methods aligned with learning objectives and school guides • Assess and evaluate student performance, behavior, progress, and comprehension through grades, progress reports, and learning-objective assessments • Maintain confidentiality of student and staff information • Contribute to professional growth by sharing and planning curriculum, staying current with educational trends, and maintaining teaching certificates • Work collaboratively to achieve the overall purposes of the school program • Maintain a classroom atmosphere conducive to learning • Perform additional duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Post Bachelors in Education from an accredited college or university • Valid State Teaching Certificate from any state; appropriate endorsements may be required depending on the area of instruction • Passed appropriate AEPA or NES proficiency exams, if applicable to certification pathway • Professional verification of successful classroom teacher performance and/or student teaching experience • Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered • Satisfactory criminal background check • Active AZ Department of Public Safety (DPS) IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card • Ability to use instructional adaptive technology tools in online courses • Proficiency with technology, computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) • Proven written and verbal communication skills • Strong organizational and planning skills • Ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis • Occasional overnight travel may be required for site visits, meetings, trainings and/or conferences
