📋 Description

• Design, build, and deploy BI solutions for internal and external customers • Maintain and support data analytics platforms • Recognize data trends and quickly, completely, and permanently correct data quality issues • Collaborate with IT peers and business partners on production support, service requests, and roadmap initiatives • Troubleshoot and test operational systems including PostgreSQL, BigQuery, and BI tools • Create database queries, stored procedures, functions, and views • Provide technical mentorship and cross-training to peers and team members • Maintain BI documentation and source system data mapping documentation • Follow the software development life cycle in development efforts • Remediate BI systems and data structures to improve performance, accuracy, integrity, and security • Provide ad hoc reports where self-service is unavailable or not possible • Perform other duties as required

🎯 Requirements

• Strong analytical skills with ability to translate business needs to technical specifications • Hands-on experience with database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP), and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) framework • High level of expertise in development/enhancement of ETL packages/processes using tools like Fivetran/DBT • Experience creating custom reports using Google BigQuery • Experience creating dashboards using BI dashboard tools such as Sisense, Power BI, or Tableau preferred • Knowledge in developing SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views • Experience working with data and platforms related to Sales, Operations, and Finance preferred • JSON/XML knowledge required • Experience with BigQuery, PostgreSQL, and Fivetran/DBT preferred • Experience with the legal/court system preferred • Experience with background screening preferred • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software required • Knowledge of business management systems such as general ledger, HRIS, CRM preferred • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related engineering field required • Industry certifications in technology preferred • If performing work-related driving, a driver’s license and satisfactory driving record are required • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience preferred • Ability to work normal Eastern Time Zone business hours • Some travel by personal automobile and occasional overnight travel may be required • Ability to lift light objects (less than 20 pounds) and carry them short distances (20 feet or less) required
