📋 Description

• Analyze healthcare data, financial statements, and other work products to inform recommendations • Build and maintain Excel models and actuarial tools • Contribute to client reports and strategic planning • Ask thoughtful questions and help shape solutions for complex healthcare challenges • Join Athena community and strategy meetings to help strengthen our culture and mission

🎯 Requirements

• 0–2 years of actuarial experience through school, internships, or early career • Progress toward ASA or FSA designation • Strong problem-solving instincts and a passion for learning • Commitment to Athena’s mission and values • Comfort working independently in a remote-first environment • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word • Experience with Medicaid, healthcare, or other public health programs (Nice-to-Have) • Familiarity with programming tools like SAS, SQL, or MacroVB (Nice-to-Have)
