• Manage all international licensing activities performed by AtkinsRealis US Nuclear, subcontractors, and affiliates on assigned advanced nuclear and engineering projects • Interface with the AtkinsRealis VP of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs and the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission • Provide licensing services and deliverables for the Commercial Nuclear Services portfolio • Prepare and review technical documents and project deliverables • Plan and execute work according to quality, cost, and schedule requirements • Remove barriers affecting deliverables and work with assigned staff on solutions and optimizations • Participate in commercial proposal preparation and approve technical proposal content • Manage technical integration and interface control across project disciplines and with clients • Ensure qualified staff are assigned appropriate project work • Manage technical deliverables budget, schedule, and quality • Ensure final deliverables meet contract requirements and nuclear codes and standards • Review key technical project documentation • Monitor technical quality of submittals to the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission • Identify and propose project improvements • Implement project security access and need-to-know requirements • Interface with executive leadership, project directors, vendors, builders, construction managers, and site engineering managers on licensing matters • Perform other duties as assigned
• Bachelor's degree required in Engineering • 10 years of industry related experience, including 5 years supporting nuclear projects • Extensive knowledge of NRC Regulations • Ability to work in a team environment with minimal direction and supervision • Ability to apply experience and judgment with a wide degree of creativity and latitude • Proven ability to successfully implement planning, scheduling and tracking initiatives • Broad understanding of building and maintaining strong multidiscipline teams and improving team capabilities and tools • Professional Engineering (PE) License • Senior Reactor Operator License or Certification • Must be a U.S. citizen in order to be considered
